After four weekends of regional qualifiers in four different cities in Nigeria, the finalists have emerged for the National Finals of the RedBull Half Court basketball tournament.
The qualifiers for the RedBull Half Court tournament, the largest street basketball competition in Nigeria, were held in Abuja, Owerri, Ibadan and Lagos to determine the best teams from these regions. 8 teams emerged from the total of 148 teams that participated, and these 8 teams will participate in the National finals in Lagos on Saturday, 24th June.
The finalists are Titans, Wildcats, Orange Room, Brave Hearts, Aji Funds, Beavers Elite, Kingsmen, and Combatants. The winner will represent Nigeria at the Redbull Half Court World Finals later this year in Serbia.
The National finals will hold at The Palms in Lekki from 2pm on Saturday, 24 June. It will be the most entertaining street basketball event in the year.
